TRANSPORT DAY - GLOBAL SAFETY ON WHEELS
Children learnt Road Safety rules using life size models. They were issued a licence for safe driving.
ROAD SAFETY CAMPAIGN DAY
Educative Placards on road safety and rallies voiced their concern about road safety and rules. During “Gatiman ki Pathshala” conducted by Radius Event Pvt. Ltd in collaboration with Maruti Suzuki, students participated in interesting activities as Quiz, Display board Designing and short skit.
Constitution Day (Samvidhan Divas) was celebrated to commemorate the adoption of Constitution of India. A quiz on ‘Indian constitution' was organized for students of class IX & X.
CHEMICAL CLEAN-UP DAY
To create awareness about responsible disposal of harmful chemicals practical session were conducted to clean a chemical spill. They discussed the clean–up protocol and designed citizen charter for safe disposal of chemicals.
ORGAN DONATION DAY
Organ Donation Day was celebrated to raise awareness about the sensitive issue of organ donation. Dr Shagun from Centre for Sight, shared the scientific process of eye donation. Students appreciated the message in a movie on organ donation and pledged to raise awareness about it.
An inter faith peace prayer was conducted where students took pledge to spread love, peace and tolerance for religious diversity. Movies based on theme of Religious Diversity were screened for children.
During the circle time, children saw an animated movie about the friendship between a horse and a boy and made Friendship bands for their friends. They shared their food and danced on friendship song.
INTERNATIONAL OZONE DAY
Experts from Indian meteorological Deptt., Ministry of Environment appreciated the PowerPoint Presentation on ozone layer made by nature club members of school.
SOCIAL JUSTICE DAY
The students demonstrated the discrimination that people face because of gender, age, race, ethnicity, religion and culture.
Teachers’ day was an occasion to pay their tribute to the contribution made by teachers to the society.
TOUR – DE – WORLD (DISPLAY BOARD COMPETITION)
A Display board competition Tour-de-World was organized on the occasion of World Tourism Day. The students creatively displayed the culture and traditions to promote the tourism of the assigned country.
ADAPTATION WEEK (April 05 to 07, 2017)
Adaptation week was organised to acclimatize new Bal Bharatians to their surroundings. A slew of activities kept them engaged and engrossed.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE-ROBOTRONICS (APRIL 17 TO 21, 2017)
During Artificial Intelligence-Robotronics’ Week students explored different facets of Robotronics through following activities :
- ‘Little Robot’ Enactment (How Robots help in House chores/offices/Mall/Banks etc.)
- Robot Designing’ (To make a robot for sorting waste automatically)
- Presentation on ‘Robotic Science in Medical field’
- Presentation on ‘Artificial Intelligence’
- Presentation on ‘Future of Robotics Science’
MATHS WEEK (May 15 to 19, 2017)
The Math Week was an opportunity to explore life and achievements of French and Greek Mathematicians through following activities :
- Model making based on real life application of Mathematics
- Mind Mapping – enquiry based project
- French & Greek Mathematicians come alive
- Contributions of French and Greek Mathematicians
- Inter house Quiz
E-COMMERCE WEEK (July 17 to 21, 2017)
E-Commerce Week was an initiative to facilitate entrepreneurship and enlighten the youth about opportunities available in the field of E-Commerce for classes IX to XII.
STAND UP, STAY STRONG – ANTI BULLYING CAMPAIGN
To sensitize students against bullying, an anti-bullying campaign “Stand Up-Stay strong” was launched which consisted of following activities:
- Movie screening
- Display Board & Poster making
- Counselling sessions
