Club Activity

Monday, 16th January 2023,Classes Involved:-I -IX

Clubs are aimed at providing a platform for the children to not only showcase their talent, but also gain more knowledge in the chosen subject. The second club activities for the session 2022-23 was held on Monday, 16th January 2023. The details are as follows:

Nature Club: The students of classes I&II performed a role play individually on the topic ‘Save Animals’. The students of class III to V made an artificial bird by paper quilling art and presented the same. And the student of class VI to IX presented a power point presentation on the topic ‘Harmful effects of radiation on birds.

Interact Club: The students of classes I&II narrated a self-made story on good manners. The students of classes III to V made a first aid kit for the needy people and explained the same with its uses and benefits. The students of classes VI to IX made a gift item like pen stand, flowerpot, creative envelope and presented to their parents.

Health & Wellness Club: As the adage goes, a healthy body is a healthy mind. The students of classes I&II made a chart on healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, grains and spoke about the health benefits of it. The students of classes III to V learnt and displayed table manners and etiquettes. Then the students of classes VI to IX prepared a poster on ‘Gender Sensitization’.

Vernacular Club: With the aim to foster Hindi/Sanskrit/Odia language the students of Classes III-V composed and presented a song/poem on the theme ‘Mother’ in Hindi/Sanskrit language. The students of classes VI to IX shared a few motivational quotes in languages like Sanskrit, Odia or Hindi through a poster.  

Digital Club: The student of class VI to IX made digital e-card using Adobe Spark, offline software under the assistance of Teacher. The students learnt lots of things through experiential learning. These activities provided a platform to explore the knowledge and it also helped in developing their creativity and presentation skills.
