Sensory play encourages learning through explorations, curiosity, problem solving and creativity. To explore different textures and know about sense of touch, a Special Activity ‘Touch-N-Play’ was conducted on Thursday, 6th July 2023 for the students of Pre-School and Pre- Primary. All the students made a texture board by pasting few materials like cotton, sand, ice-cream stick, sponge, tape etc. and learnt about different textures like soft, hard, sticky, fluffy, rough and bumpy. All our tiny tots were actively involved and enjoyed the activity. They learnt by touching and feeling different things. The activity not only enhanced the critical thinking, gross motor and fine motor skills of the students but also gave them a chance to self-express their imagination.
