The 77th Independence Day was celebrated in Bal Bharati Public School Darlipali with patriotic fervour. The program started at 7:30 am with the welcome of our honorable chief guest, respected Shri Harsha Nath Chakraborty, GM (O&M), NTPC, Darlipali and invited guest Ms. Veera Sangita Baxla (Sr. Manager-HR, NTPC, Darlipali) with a round of applause. The National flag was hoisted by the chief guest followed by the National Anthem “Jan Gana Mana”. Patriotic poems were recited by our talented young scholars. Best performers of different activities conducted on 14th August 2023 were also awarded by our distinguished guests. On this auspicious Occasion, the guest wished everyone and shared the word of wisdom. He addressed the gathering & expressed pride in the rich cultural past of the country. He urged everyone to work with honesty and dedication for the nation. He elucidated about the teacher’s huge responsibility in creating the beautiful future. Our school coordinator, Ms. Sheena Thomas stated that every student has got individual capacity to push through the potential and it’s our responsibility to horn and nurture it for India’s development. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by MS. Simi Sen
