Music has the ability to deeply affect our mental states and raise our mood. Music as an art motivates the students express themselves creatively. A special music programme – ‘Tablatim Beats’ was conducted on Monday, 16th October 2023 for the students of class- I-III as a part of integrated learning. The teacher demonstrated playing Kayda in Tabla and some basic knowledge regarding Tabla. All the students enjoyed the demonstration and then show cased their talents. The activity provided deep insight into “Tablatim Beats” and a deep sense of understanding the persona that every beats of kayda has. It was helpful for the students in developing coordination of rhythm using kayda in tabla.
