Block-Level Science Exhibition

The Block-Level Science Exhibition  under Rastriya Aviskara Abhiyan (RAA) of Samagra Shiksha was held on 12th November 2024 at Lochan High School, Darlipali, drawing students, educators, and science enthusiasts from across the region. This annual event serves as a platform for young minds to present their innovative ideas and foster a deeper understanding of science and its applications. This year’s theme, SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY FOR SUSTAINABLE FUTURE, inspired participants to develop projects addressing global and local challenges.

 

BBPS Darlipali, known for nurturing scientific curiosity, proudly presented an impressive contingent of five talented students. Their projects spanned diverse fields such as Natural Farming, Waste Management, Health & Hygiene, Disaster Management & Transport & communication demonstrating a perfect blend of creativity and scientific rigour.

 

Three of our students achieved top honours across various categories, standing out among 240 competing projects.

  • Soumil Swastik Das (VI) bagged First prize for his project Smart Traffic Flow: Simulation of Road Network under the subtheme- Transport & communication.
  • Sai Shruthika (VII) bagged First prize for her project Smart High Flood Bridge under the subtheme- Disaster Management.
  • ·Anaum Irfan Siddique (VI) bagged Third prize for her project Smart dustbin under the subtheme- Waste Management.

The projects were meticulously evaluated by a panel of esteemed judges comprising scientists, educators, and industry experts. They were particularly impressed by the practical applicability and social relevance of the exhibits presented by our students.

The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest Mr Naresh Pratap Singh, Block Chairman who delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing the role of science and innovation in nation-building. Addressing the audience, the chief guest lauded the students' efforts and encouraged them to continue their pursuit of knowledge.

The exhibition wasn’t just a competitive platform but also an enriching learning experience. Our students had the opportunity to interact with peers from other schools, exchange ideas, and gain insights into cutting-edge advancements in science.

Our school’s stellar performance at the exhibition is a testament to the dedication and guidance of our teachers, the hard work of our students, and the unwavering support of our school administration. This success has boosted the morale of our students and ignited a passion for science that will surely propel them to greater heights.
