Energy Conservation Week-12th December to 13th December 2022

Our nation celebrates the “National Energy Conservation Week” from December 14 to 20 to highlight the importance of energy consumption and its use in our day-to-day life, its scarcity, and its impact on the sustainability of global ecosystems. On this occasion various competitions were conducted at BBPS, Darlipali, with collaboration with NTPC. The highlights were-Class I-III: Drawing Competition was conducted for the students of classes I-III on the topic ‘Energy Savings Equipment’s and their benefits’ on Monday, 12th December 2022. Students were asked to draw and colour on the assigned topic. It was judged by Mr.Jaydeb Pal. Class IV-V: Essay Writing Competition was conducted for the students of classes IV&V on the topic ‘India at 2022 on Energy Conservation’ on Monday, 12th December 2022. Students were asked to write an essay of 200 words on the given topic. It was judged by Mr. Shiv Shankar Nayak Class VI-IX: Elocution Competition was conducted for the students of class VI-IX on the topic ‘Your contribution towards Energy Conservation’ on Monday, 12th December 2022.Students were asked to speak on the given topic. It was judged by Ms.Sheena Thomas. Class PS & PP: Drawing Competition was conducted for the students of class PS and PP on the topic ‘Energy Conservation’ on Tuesday, 13th December 2022. Students were asked to draw and colour on the assigned topic. It was judged by Ms.Suman Khute and Ms.Sonali Pandey. These competitions provided an awareness to the students about the importance of energy efficiency and conservation.
